Beijing and Yoga

While in Beijing I got the chance to meet Ms Li at her Jing Ning yoga studio. The studio cooperates with (and actually lies inside) the Capital Sport University of Beijing.

The Sport University counts 20.000 students.
Please note, when I told Ms Li and her assistant Ms Qian that I live in a village of 2500 people, they stared at me as I was coming from another planet ๐Ÿ˜œ

In Ms Liโ€™s studio work 11 teachers of different styles of yoga, she has been teaching yoga since 16 years, and formed hundreds of teachers all over China.
She likes more Power Yoga and Asthanga, while in her studio I personally tried Yin Yoga ๐Ÿ˜Œ
.
One day she gave me the chance to talk to one of the teachers who works for her: Ms XueSi, who graduated in Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and got PhD in Acupuncture and Moxibustion. She introduced me to TCM, explaining me meridians and related organs, and how to apply this knowledge to yoga positions. We spent 2 wonderful hours together, she is really prepared and she teaches very well. Sharing experiences and cultures, we often realised we were talking about the same thing, just using different words, or seeing it from different points of view. This was amazing! Yoga helps people from all over the World ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ

It was a pleasure and a honour for me to meet these wonderful ladies. I hope we can cooperate together in the future, somewhere in China or Europe.
Thanks to Ms Li, Ms Qian and Ms XueSi.
